ClusterF**k

My Parents have a word they only use on truly momentous occasions, a word that represents the impact and importance of said event. The word is ClusterF**k and covers all manor of sins.

It was most recently used yesterday when my Parents got a call from Metro Detroit airport telling them that my Grandparents had arrived and were waiting to be picked up...two days early.

For weeks we had been laboring under the assumption that they were arriving this Friday, the 12th, but they turned up on the doorstep after a days travel (and remember they are both in their 80's) two days early and needless to say a little confused.

My family has a history of cock ups on this scale, but it's normally the wrinklies (Grandparents) who are the perpetrators who either arrive at the airport a day early or perhaps go to the wrong airport (Heathrow instead of Gatwick)

I suppose at the end of the day it's not a huge deal (despite my Dad telling me we'll probably go to hell for this) and they seem OK now (both asleep on the sofa).

So remember, if you ever truly screw up the word that will not only make you feel better but will completely encompass the magnitude of the situation is ClusterF**K!
